I got this done by jason at tribe tattoo, Denver Colorado. It’s monastery graveyard in the snow by david casper Fredrich. It was done around the 1800’s and was photographed before it was burned in WWII.

This is my sixth tattoo inspired by the song Drive by Incubus. The meaning behind the song is not to let fear take the wheel and drive, which I have been doing for all my life. I figured it’s about time to tae the own wheel of my life and drive. I got this tattoo as a reminder to do so. I love this tattoo and how it turned out. It’s perfect. [I have been a fan of Incubus since I was 5, and I’m 20 now. So nobody thinks I just like this song]

My tattoo i got done just over a week ago. It hurt alot but totally worth it. I got this for two reasons, one because i love pocket watches i just think they look pretty cool and also “Time waits for no-one” means to me, dont sit around and wait for things to come to you, go and get them (ie. Follow your dreams and fight for them) The time on the clock is 11:11 (make a wish) which ties in with the meaning.

The lyrics are from Regina Spektor’s The Call which is not only one of my favourite songs but also the song that plays at the end of Prince Caspian and as a literature student, I love the nod to such a great series.
I chose those lyrics in particular because they sum up everything about life from love, friendship to personal growth and religion, even the feeling you get once you’ve finished a great book or film. Just because every one else doesn’t know what you’ve been through, what you’ve experience, doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen, that you didn’t feel that, that you have to forget.
Done for me at Sean’s Body Art in Nofolk, UK and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
